TAKE CARE

Juli and Charlie are mother and daughter — and two women who need each other just as much as each other needs her. TAKE CARE captures the moment in which neither of them can give the other what they need. As Juli lies sick in bed, just before an impending departure, care and a new beginning collide. Charlie seeks closeness, but finds herself caught up in a world of duty where there’s no room for feelings. Juli wants to be allowed to be independent — yet still be held close.
The film forms a duet with “Open and Shut” (2026).
